Selections for Entrance of the Bride

Walking down the aisle is a magical moment, so it’s important to get the right music for it. Ideally music with a strong melody and which can be shortened or lengthened if needed depending on the length of the aisle and the number of bridesmaids, etc.

These are some of my favourites which have worked well over the years:

Romantic Wedding March

One of my favourites; it’s a beautiful piano arrangement of the traditional organ wedding march. It soft and delicate and gives time for the bridesmaids to walk down the aisle before building up into the emotional crescendo as the bride walks down the aisle. Once the main theme has finished, it can stop there or if the bride and groom would like a little more time to relax and greet each other it carries on to the reprise of the main tune and let it gently come to the end.

A Thousand Years

This is a popular choice – for good reason! It’s a song with meaningful lyrics and a memorable tune which can be played delicately to set the tone.

Canon in D

A classic choice often played by string quartet but this piano arrangement is well written and has different sections so the length can be tailored to fit what is needed.

Perfect

This one is a favourite with the grooms…. “You look Perfect” will no doubt echo his thoughts as his bride comes towards him.

Have I Told You Lately

This one is very flexible so is a good choice if you have a long aisle or a big wedding party; each section can be looped to create a seamless backdrop which ends just at the right moment.

Prelude in C

Another classic favourite which can be used for the entrance or even just before the entrance as again it is easy to loop sections so if the bride is running a little late I can loop it until she arrives.

Psalm 23

This is a much-loved modern hymn with a great melody and refrain of “I will trust in You alone”. This song can start softly and be built up to the moment when the bride walks down the aisle.

How Great is Our God

A worshipful choice for a bride wanting to give thanks to God as she walks to meet her groom.

Or, if you prefer, I am also happy to learn a custom piece for you.
